Ukraine's Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) will remain closed over runway maintenance works for the next 10 days, Sep 2-12, according to the airport's press service.

"[Airport] staff say all passengers have been warned, while scheduled departures have been transferred to the Boryspil [International Airport]. The airport shuts down today, at 09:00 [Kyiv time]. All works are set to be completed in10 days. Therefore, they promise to restore the operation of Kyiv Airport on September 12," a host of a morning TV show "Snidanok z 1+1" said Sep 2.

As was earlier reported, Boryspil Airport would be hosting flights of 10 air carriers amid repairs at the Zhuliany airport, distributing them between its D and F terminals.
