Kyiv residents burdened with debts for housing and communal services will be able to use the mechanism of five-year installments (restructuring), the press service reports.

According to the report, the Utility Service Center (USC) offers restructuring for up to 5 years without a payment of the first installment. Relevant agreements can be concluded from February 1 to March  31. Thus, starting February 1, Kyiv residents who have utility debts can take advantage of the new installment mechanism.

According to the press service, for the conclusion of the agreement, residents should apply to the accountant on accruals at the utility services.

The total debt for maintenance of houses and adjoining areas was at UAH 2.5 billion, and for waste removal services - at UAH 390 million. At the same time, debt for centralized water supply and sanitation services amounted to UAH 1.6 billion, and electricity – to UAH 3.1 billion.
