Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said quarantine measures may be strengthened in the capital city to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
"I don't want to scare anyone. But the dynamics of the spread of the disease are disappointing. And we may get back to tougher restrictions. Let's not bring it to this," he said at a briefing on Friday, July 10.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the capital city rose by 118 in the past day.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 5,990.
In total, 2,033 Kyiv residents have already recovered.
