Russia’s State Duma respects the choice of those who took part in Ukraine’s parliamentary elections on Sunday, the Head of the lower House’s Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Slutsky has been quoted as saying by Russian news agency TASS.

"We do not rule out the possibility of cooperating with those deputies of the Ukrainian parliament who aim to have constructive relations with Russia, either on a bilateral basis, or within an international parliamentary framework," Slutsky said in Moscow on Monday.
