High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini says that the European Union is ready to do more on the reconstruction of Donbas and facilitate the full implementation on the Minsk peace agreements.
"Apart from reforms, we also discussed with the prime minister the situation in the east of Ukraine. The European Union continues to support the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. In our talks with the prime minister, we underline Russia's responsibility in this. As you know, the European Union sanctions on Russia are directly linked to the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. And we are ready, as the European Union, to do more, including, for instance, on reconstruction, but most of all to move forward on the full implementation on the Minsk agreements," she said at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
In addition, Mogherini stressed the EU would continue to support Ukraine, in particular, in the issue of territorial integrity and sovereignty.
