Party of Regions ready to unblock work of Verkhovna Rada
Should coalition fulfill its conditions
The Party of Regions faction is ready to unblock the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine tomorrow.
Party of Regions lawmaker Yuri Miroshnychenko claimed this in an interview to UNIAN.
According to him, the faction supported a decision to vote for a compromise draft decree on NATO, worked out by the working group of the parliament. He disclosed that the matter concerns a draft decree, stipulating that the decision on Ukraine’s becoming a NATO member will be made through a referendum.
At the same time, Yu.Miroshnychenko stressed that the Party of Regions insists that the NATO issue should be considered the first at the session of parliament.
The lawmaker noted that the faction does not consider signing the protocol of mutual understanding, because if the coalition takes into account Party of Regions’ proposals, it will allow unblocking the parliament’s work without signing any documents.
