Party of Regions lawmakers block rostrum and presidium of Verkhovna Rada

Party of Regions faction lawmakers have blocked the rostrum and presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, besides, they blocked with chairs the door, by which the Speaker enters the chamber.

An extraordinary session of the Party of Regions faction was held in the session hall. During the session, party leader Victor Yanukovych talked to the faction lawmakers, after which they went to block the rostrum.

Party of Regions lawmaker Oleksiy Zhurvako occupied the chair of the Verkhovna Rada Speaker.
