The next session of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on resolving the situation in Ukraine's east will take place in Minsk, Belarus, on April 18.

Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group, Ambassador Martin Sajdik summed up results of the talks held on April 4, the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) said.

The subgroup on economic affairs continued discussing further steps needed to restore mobile communication service from Vodafone Ukraine Company in certain parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The subgroup also continued discussing the payment of pensions, water supply, and the return of the railway cars, which are now outside the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.

The subgroup on humanitarian affairs continued discussing the exchange of prisoners of war and the improvement of conditions for crossing the contact line via checkpoints, in particular, in Stanytsia Luhanska.

The subgroup on political affairs focused on the implementation of the so-called Steinmeier formula and on amnesty.
