During the visit, the Turkish minister will participate in the third meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group (JSPG), which is a subcommittee of the Turkey-Ukraine High Level Strategic Council (HLSC).

Talking to reporters, Çavuşoğlu said that Turkey supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine in every way, and that Ankara considers the pseudo-election held by the militants who have seized control of some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to be an encroachment on a constitutional order of the country.
