Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has approved the implementation of a decision by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine on personal sanctions against individuals and legal entities associated with Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Relevant decree No. 126/2018 of May 14 was published on the official presidential website on Friday, May 18.
"To enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of May 2, 2018 'On the introduction and cancellation of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions),'" the decree says.
It is noted the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the NSDC's decision enacted by this decree.
The decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
