The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has called on all doctors to refrain from participating in supposedly "professional assemblies," as this may lead to their exploitation in political manipulation schemes.
The ministry is receiving numerous reports from doctors across Ukraine, who are being called to participate in supposedly professional assemblies under urgent pretexts, the ministry's press service said.

"We ask all our colleagues to focus on providing quality medical services to their patients according to the approved schedule of work and participation in professional events," it said.
The ministry also added that it always informs the public about any meetings, conferences and other events through its officials, website, and official channels in social networks.
"The pressure on medical workers to participate in political events is illegal and entails administrative and criminal liability," the press service said.
