Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine "On the establishment of the High Anti-Corruption Court."
The signing took place during the graduation ceremony at the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University, an UNIAN correspondent reports.
"I've decided that it is here and today that we have to sign the law on the launch of the Anti-Corruption Court," Poroshenko said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's Parliament, on June 21 adopted presidential draft law No. 8497 on the establishment of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
According to the document, the HACC location, territorial jurisdiction, and status are determined by the law "On the High Anti-Corruption Court."
The document stipulates that the Cabinet of Ministers shall take, within its competence, measures related to the establishment of the High Anti-Corruption Court, while the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine shall ensure measures necessary to implement the law.

The Verkhovna Rada passed in the second reading presidential draft law "On the High Anti-Corruption Court" on Thursday, June 7.
The document stipulates that the High Anti-Corruption Court is a permanently acting high specialized court that is part of Ukraine's judicial system.
On June 11, the president signed the bill into law, which came into force on June 14.
