Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has unveiled which issues he has discussed in detail with President of the United States Donald Trump.

In particular, they discussed the forthcoming meeting of the U.S. President with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and the Nord Stream 2 project, Poroshenko said.

"It was interesting to me when there was a leak of information that my meeting with the President of the United States had allegedly been canceled. In fact, we in very detail discussed President Trump's upcoming meeting in Helsinki on Monday, the 16th [of July]," Poroshenko said at a press conference on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Brussels on July 12.

"The issue of Nord Stream 2 was thoroughly discussed," he added.

In addition, he said, the sides noted Ukraine's progress in implementing reforms.

In total, Poroshenko said he had held more than 15 bilateral meetings amid the Brussels summit.
