Poroshenko gives tough response to Russia's peace terms

"The key to peace is not in Kyiv, not in Washington and not in Brussels. The key to peace is in the Kremlin. And if someone imposes Russia's enslaving terms on us, I want to emphasize that this path is absolutely unacceptable not only for the president, but for the entire Ukrainian nation," Poroshenko said at the International Volunteer and Veteran Forum "Ukraine is where we are," an UNIAN correspondent reports.

He cited the example of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, as well as other occupied lands.

"Look at how people live there. And this is what Russia offers to inhabitants of occupied lands," the president added and stressed that the Ukrainians would never accept this.
