The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Natalia Galibarenko, says there is no actual dialogue yet on simplifying for Ukrainians the process of obtaining British visas.

"The British side has already admitted there is a number of problems," Galibarenko told an MFA Ukraine press club meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

She has added that Britain "is ready to work on improving its visa services. In fact, there is no dialogue yet on simplifying visa issuance, but this situation is relevant to all countries whose citizens seek to obtain a British visa," noted Galibarenko.

According to the diplomat, in connection with Brexit, UK plans to revise the procedure for issuing visas.

"Due to the fact that the UK supported granting Ukraine a visa-free travel across the EU, I hope for a positive result. This is not an option where we can limit ourselves to having the service improved. We will work on ensuring that the process of obtaining visas is simplified," the Ambassador said.
