Ukraine's Representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group for the Donbas settlement, First Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko has said the agenda of the session of the UN General Assembly includes the issue of the situation in the Russian-occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas.

"An important decision, despite the resistance of the Russian Federation, the issue of the situation in the occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas has been included in the agenda of the session," she wrote on Facebook.

Gerashchenko said Ukraine should "maximize the use of a high international platform for delivering information about daily human rights violations in the Russian-occupied territories, security and environmental threats."
