Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó at a meeting in New York assured that Hungary would change the title of its authorized envoy "for Transcarpathia."
"We've talked for a long time about the post of the Hungarian government's authorized envoy. They confirmed their intention to change the title," Klimkin told journalists on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.
The Ukrainian minister also said the creation of this post is a "deliberate provocation."
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly protested against Hungary's decision to create the post of an authorized minister responsible for the development of Transcarpathia (or Zakarpattia in Ukrainian, which is an administrative unit of Ukraine) and develop kindergartens in the Carpathian basin.
