Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has discussed the issue of energy security on the European continent with President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.

During a meeting in the framework of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, the president of Ukraine thanked the Croatian side for the consistent support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the massive humanitarian and expert assistance of Zagreb to Ukraine, according to the president's press service.

A wide range of issues of bilateral relations and interaction in international organizations was discussed.

Poroshenko expressed hope for the continuation of an active bilateral political dialogue between Ukraine and Croatia aimed at realizing a significant potential of the Ukrainian-Croatian partnership in all spheres of bilateral cooperation.

The president of Ukraine invited the president of Croatia to make an official visit to Ukraine.
