Diplomats from Ukraine, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States draw the attention of the Hungarian authorities to the continued Russian aggression.
"The Embassies of Ukraine, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States in Hungary continue to encourage sustained support for a sovereign, unified, and secure Ukraine by drawing attention to the country's wide-ranging ongoing reform agenda, and highlighting political, security, socio-economic, and media issues including the illegal annexation of Crimea, continued Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine, and the importance of sanctions against Russia," the Embassy of Ukraine to Hungary wrote on Facebook.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a video was posted on social media showing the consulate of Hungary in Berehove reportedly issuing Hungarian passports to citizens of Ukraine. Klimkin called on Hungary to take action after the publication of the video.
On September 19, he did not exclude the possible expulsion of the Hungarian Consul in Berehove. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó in turn warned his country could take new measures to block Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO.
