Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed Decree No. 298/2018 on annual national programs under the auspices of the Ukraine-NATO Commission.
The decree introduces provisions for the development of annual national programs under the auspices of the Ukraine-NATO Commission and evaluation of their results, the presidential press service said on October 2.

According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers shall annually ensure the drafting of the national programs for the relevant years in line with the provisions, as well as coordinate the activities of central executive and other state agencies for the implementation of the said programs.
The implementation of the decree will allow the country to bring the system and mechanism for coordinating the executive agencies' Euro-Atlantic integration activities in line with current legislation, as well as adapt the cycle of the annual national programs to the NATO criteria and standards.
