Ukraine peace talks to continue on January 9 in Kazakhstan (Video)
A Normady-format meeting is to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, where top officials from Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France are to discuss a genuine ceasefire in eastern Ukraine.
The agreement to meet on January 9 in Kazakhstan was reached at the latest round of talks on the Ukraine crisis in Berlin on Monday, according to the Ukrainian representative, Ukraine Today reports.
The format of the talks originated last June, when the leaders of said countries discussed the Ukraine crisis during D-Day commemorations in Normandy, France.
However, as of today, it has not been confirmed whether a summit of leaders will actually take place.
