Two Ukrainian soldiers injured in Donbas conflict zone in last day
No Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the last 24 hours, but two were injured in attacks by militants, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Over the last day, we haven’t lost any Ukrainian soldiers, and only two were injured," Lysenko said.
He said Ukrainian positions had come under attack several times by Russian-backed militants overnight.
As reported earlier, on January 7 three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another three wounded in the Donbas conflict zone.
