According to an UNIAN correspondent, the decision was supported by 265 MPs out of 315 registered in the session hall.
The law makes additions to the first part of Article 25 of the Law of Ukraine "On leave" stipulating the right of workers who are employed in the conflict zone in Donbas to take leave without pay for the duration of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, including the time required to return to the workplace.
According to the explanatory memorandum to the bill, the adoption of this law will help to preserve jobs for such workers, add a period of absence from their workplace in connection with the Anti-Terrorist Operation in their work records, and to give them rights to take actions to save their lives and health without any risk of losing their jobs.
