EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, during his Ukraine visit on Friday said that the National Anti-corruption Bureau had been doing "excellent work."
"Good 2 meet #NABU Dir. Sytnik & team. Commended NABU‘s excellent work despite strong pressure," Commissioner Hahn tweeted.
Speaking at a Kyiv press conference, Hahn added that the Ukrainian society does not yet realize in full the effect of NABU's efforts, according to RFE/RL.

"Independence of anti-corruption institutions must b ensured […] Look forward to rapid establishment of High AC Court," he tweeted.
At the same time, Hahn was more skeptical about the results of the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office, noting that its chief, Nazar Kholodnytsky, has lost credibility so Ukraine authorities must re-establish credibility of the agency.
