Chernovetskiy pledges to win Kyiv Mayor election
VR decisions are contrary to common sense, he said
Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy claims he has intent to take part in the extraordinary election of the Kyiv Mayor, and pledges to win.
According to the press-service of the Kyiv City State Administration, he said: “Regardless of the fact that the decision to carry out the early election of Kyiv Mayor is absolutely political, and has no legal grounds, I have intent to participate in the election”.
“Citizens of Ukraine have many times witnessed that decisions of the Verkhovna Rada were adopted without any legal basis and contrary to common sense, they were based only on political reasons. Today we have again witnessed this phenomenon”, L.Chernovetskiy said.
“Corrupt politicians will fail to change the choice of Kyiv residents and act contrary to the Constitution. I will take part in the election and win. I’m not afraid of the early election, because I’m confident of my victory. I believe, Kyiv residents will get to know who really works for the sake of capital residents, and who is busy with political jabber and populism”, he claimed.
