The “exclusive interview” of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk to “Izvestia” daily is nothing but a “free interpretation” Speaker’s statements, which were collected deliberately by the journalist, who wrote the article.
The press-service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a respective statement to UNIAN.
According to the VR press-service, A.Yatseniuk did not give any interview to this newspaper.
“The material does not reflect the stance of the Verkhovna Rada chairman, as a politician and as an official”, the statement reads.
As UNIAN reported earlier, today “Izvestia” daily published an article, given as an interview with Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk. In the interview, the Speaker as if says that he is opposed to Ukraine’s joining NATO MAP, that there is ideological conflict between Yulia Tymoshenko and Victor Yushchenko, and the like.
