Yanukovych initiates introducing parliamentary control of gas supplies

Party of Regions leader, head of the opposition government Victor Yanukovych initiates the introduction of a parliamentary control over supplying Ukraine with gas, due to the unprofessional actions of the incumbent government.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Victor Yanukovych claimed this today at a session of the opposition government.

“There is no transparency in this issue [the gas talks with Russia - UNIAN]. We proposed that this process be controlled by parliament. But we have not received any response as yet – neither from the government, not from the President”, Victor Yanukovych said.
