Party of Regions demands to withdraw Ukrainian peacemakers from Kosovo.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, leader of the faction of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovych claimed this to journalists today.
He noted that this issue was studied today by the council of the Party of Regions faction, with assistance of experts.
According to him, a respective draft decree has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Leader of the Party of Regions pointed out: “We should not allow that our boys be killed there”. According to his words, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine made a positive decision on the participation of the Ukrainian peacekeeping forces in Kosovo mission “under an obligatory condition that we do not take part in military actions”.
According to the words of V.Yanukovych, the faction is about to call upon MPs both from the opposition and the coalition to support the resolution on the withdrawal of the Ukrainians contingent from Kosovo.
