Tymoshenko calls upon officials to renounce corteges
In 90% of her trips she is not escorted
Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stated that 90% of her trips she is not escorted and in other cases forbids blocking traffic. “I just hate these corteges,” she said at press conference today answering journalists’ questions, according to the government’s press-office.
Yulia Tymoshenko also stressed that she strongly objects to blocking road traffic in the city: “creating chaos on roads, blocking traffic and waiting for two hours until some corteges drives – is political swinishness,” the PM underscored. At that Yulia Tymoshenko added that one should organize its work in a way which does not hinder people to live, - “if the power does not help sometimes then it shouldn’t hinder”.
