Poroshenko said this at a press conference in Zaporizhia on Saturday when answering a question from a journalist, an UNIAN correspondent reported.

When asked to comment on Yanukovych's statement recently published by some Russian media that he would like to come back to Ukraine, Poroshenko said: "I think this will be good for Ukraine. [I'm] not sure if it's good for him. We're looking forward to meeting him. And we're prepared for the meeting. The sooner he comes to Ukraine, the better it is for Ukraine. Let him lead a protest movement. The best of the options will be in prison."

Ex-president Yanukovych, whom Ukraine's parliament stripped of his official title early in February 2015, has recently promised to return to Ukraine when he's got an opportunity.
