Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has pledged a tough reaction to those who are involved in a fatal blast in Kharkiv on Sunday, according to his Facebook post.
"It's Shrove Sunday today, but despite this, evil terrorism has revealed its predatory nature. I express my deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.
"The blasts staged by non-human creatures during a peaceful march in Kharkiv is a bold attempt to expand the zone of terrorism. Those who are involved in this will get a tough reaction! Those responsible will be held accountable," the president wrote.
As UNIAN reported earlier, two people were killed and 10 were injured in a bomb explosion at a march in Kharkiv on Sunday, marking the first anniversary of Euromaidan events.
