Ukraine continues to negotiate for release of prisoners
Negotiations on the release of Ukrainian prisoners from the captivity of Russian-backed militants are still continuing, the government’s Anti-Terrorist Operation spokesman Anatoliy Stelmakh said on Tuesday.
"We’re having talks now with the militants via the Security Service of Ukraine and other structures. We will release all prisoners, no matter from which unit they are," he said.
The release of all prisoners by both sides is one of the conditions of the February 12 agreement on implementing the Minsk Agreement of September 12.
