"I’ve just returned from Brussels. My negotiations in the European Parliament were encouraging. The European Parliament has a sincere desire to support us, and not only declaratively,” he said.

"I saw that political association for our European colleagues was not an empty [phrase]. Our partners feel morally responsible for the sovereign European vector of Ukraine. And they will not sacrifice it to the aggressor," Hroisman said.

He also said the "homework" for Ukraine was not to stop, but to carry out reforms in spite of the aggression coming from Russia.

"This year should be a year for long-awaited changes, and we don’t have any other choice. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will perform its part of this task!" Hroisman said.
