“Penta” Center for Applied Political Studies director Volodymyr Fesenko outlines a number of achievements of Yulia Tymoshenko’s government over 100 days of its work.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, speaking about the achievements, V.Fesenko, first of all, pointed out the payment of compensations for depreciated Soviet-era savings. “This was the super-successful move of the Tymoshenko’s government, which brought her political dividends in a form of raising the rating”, V.Fesenko pointed out.
The political scientist also believes that another Tymoshenko’s success is the gas agreements with the Russian Federation, as she managed to defend many interests of Ukraine, and “Gazprom” yielded for the first time.
At the same time, V.Fesenko pointed out that the “gas topic” was not closed, because there is no long-term agreement, and the gas price still may be increased.
Besides, the political scientist assesses as a success of Yulia Tymoshenko that she managed to adopt the country’s budget over the first days of her work on the post of the Prime Minister.
However, V.Fesenko does not rule out that the growth of prices may influence Yulia Tymoshenko’s rating in the nearest future.
