The latest poll by a Kyiv-based International Institute of Sociology says presidential candidate, showman Volodymyr Zelensky is set to win the second round of elections scheduled for April 21.

Some 72.2% of Ukrainians who intend to cast their ballots and have already made up their choice are ready to vote for Zelensky, while 25.4% of those are willing to support incumbent president Petro Poroshenko, an UNIAN correspondent reported citing the outcome of the survey voiced by the Institute's deputy chief Anton Hrushetskiy.

The poll says 2.4% of this category of voters would rather spoil their ballots than support a particular candidate among the two who had made it to the runoff.

Among all survey respondents, 48.4% support Zelensky, 17% choose Poroshenko, 1.6% would spoil the ballot, 17.9% remain undecided, 8.8% refuse to name their favorite, and 6.3% do not intend to vote.

The survey was conducted on April 9-14 among 2,004 respondents aged 18 and over. The statistical error margin is 3.3%, the report says.
