The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has already processed 99.87% of protocols from precinct election commissions on the results of the runoff vote.

Presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky received 73.23% of the vote (13,524,027 voters), while his opponent, incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, was supported by 24.45% of the voters (4,516,354).

A total of 18,467,783 votes have been counted so far.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine held a presidential election runoff on April 21. The turnout in the second round was 61.37%, the CEC said, adding that the official results of the second round would be officially announced on April 30.
