Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland will visit Ukraine on May 8 to meet with outgoing Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky.

"She should arrive on May 8," the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine told UNIAN.

Freeland is also to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

In addition, Freeland and Klimkin plan to hold a joint press conference. A joint press briefing with Groysman is also on the agenda.
