Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis.

Zelensky thanked Latvia for remaining a reliable partner and friend of Ukraine in a difficult period for the country. The president particularly noted the efforts of Latvia in supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the presidential press service has reported.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine's priorities in foreign policy and continuation of reforms remained unchanged. The president is hopeful that Latvia will continue to be an advocate for Ukraine in the European Union and NATO.

In addition, Zelensky noted the efforts of Latvia aimed to assist Ukraine in the reform of the defense sector. He assured that his attention would remain focused on the protection of foreign investors.
