The government did not invite President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko to attend its extended session, devoted to summing up the results of the first 100 days of the government’s activities.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, top deputy President’s Chief of Staff Oleksander Shlapak claimed this to journalists today.

“As far as I know, he [President] was not invited. Actually, it is a kind of tradition, because earlier the President also did not attend previous governments’ sessions, devoted to summing up results of 100 days of their activities”, O.Shlapak said.

At the same time, he believes that the period of 100 days is not sufficient for summing up the results of the government’s activities.

“It is a too little period to speak about any steady tendencies in the work of government. God willing, we will work more, and than the President will attend their session”, he added.
