Chubarov: Crimean Tatars to be on lists of four or five parties running in Ukraine parliamentary elections

"Let's wait until the lists are named," Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Member of Parliament Refat Chubarov told the news outlet Hromadske. "The only thing I'll tell you that our representatives are not on the list of the Opposition Platform, while Batkivshchyna has no Crimean Tatars, but representatives of Crimea — that suits us."

Chubarov himself is running for another term in parliament as a candidate on the list of ex-chief of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine Ihor Smeshko's Strength and Honor Party.

MP Chubarov is now a member of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko parliamentary faction.

The early parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be held on July 21, 2019.
