"We will not work in the opposition. Perhaps, we will not be part of the coalition. But we cannot afford to waste another five years just for the reason that we will be in the opposition because of our ambitions, because we have not been accepted into the coalition. We will help as much as we can," she told a Svoboda Slova [Freedom of Speech] panel show on Ukraine's ICTV channel.

Tymoshenko also says she is aware of the critical situation in the country. Therefore, her party will help "in any status."

She also announced talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the coming days. However, she did not specify subjects that would be discussed.

As reported earlier, Tymoshenko called on the Servant of the People Party and the Holos (Voice) Party to unite with the Batkivshchyna Party in the elections.
