"It was decided to dismiss all the heads of Regional State Emergency Services... In all of these regions we will organize an appropriate inspection and will decide on the further work of these persons in the State Emergency Service and on the level of their involvement in the corruption schemes that were discovered by the Interior Ministry," he said.
As reported earlier, on March 25, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations Serhiy Bochkovskiy and his first deputy Vasil Stoietskiy were detained.
The press service of the Ministry of Interior told an UNIAN correspondent that Bochkovskiy and Stoietskiy were charged with criminal schemes involving purchasing fuel from private companies at inflated prices. The officials were detained in accordance with Article 208 of Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.
