U.S. begins to review Ukraine's request for military equipment purchase – Taylor
United States Chargé d'Affaires to Ukraine William Taylor has said the United States began to review Ukraine's request for the purchase of military equipment.
"I'm pleased to announce that Ukraine has requested for the first time to purchase military equipment through the U.S. Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales program. We are beginning to review process for that request," he said, as reported by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine on Twitter.
"The United States stands firmly with Ukraine in support of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and defense sector reforms," Taylor said.
