Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has not been allowed to attend the Ukraine-EU summit in Kyiv on July 8.

Her name was not included in the list of participants in the event despite the fact that she is responsible for the respective subject, and the European Union expected her participation, according to the Kyiv-based European Pravda news outlet.

According to media sources, her participation in the summit was considered, but when she came to the gates of the Mariinsky Palace, she was denied entry.

Intergovernmental agreements at the summit will be signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv.

As UNIAN reported, the 21st Ukraine-European Union summit began in Kyiv on July 8.
