OU-PSD faction lawmaker, United Center political party leader Ihor Kril claims that his political force must become a reliable support for President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.
He said this to a press conference in UNIAN today.
“We will not fight with any parties, we will defend our ideas”, I.Kril said.
According to him, the party is not striving that Victor Yushchenko become its honorary chairman. “We will do everything to become a reliable support for the President… I believe it is incorrect to divide Yushchenko, being a Ukrainian politician”, the lawmaker stressed.
United Center chairman believes that, as of today, Ukraine has become a hostage of ambitious of certain politicians. “We are the party of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, we support his actions, and will provide the fulfillment of his program and intents”, I.Kril said.
In her turn, member of the party’s presidium, OU-PSD lawmaker Olesya Orobets noted that the United Center will strive to attract young politicians with European views.
