Today, July 21, Ukraine is holding early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, the country's parliament.

The polling stations opened at eight in the morning and will operate until 20:00 local time.

Citizens vote in line with a mixed system – part of the people's deputies will be elected on general party lists, and some – individually in their local "majoritarian constituencies".

Thus, voters will receive two ballots with lists of parties and majoritarian candidates.

Citizens shall make one mark per ballot.
