Volker congratulates Ukrainians on parliamentary elections, announces visit

U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker has congratulated the people of Ukraine on parliamentary elections and announced his visit to Ukraine this week.

"Congratulations to the people of Ukraine – a strong vote for reform! Looking forward to meetings this week in Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter on July 22, 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, early parliamentary elections took place in Ukraine on July 21, 2019. According to preliminary results, the Servant of the People Party, the Opposition Platform – For Life Party, the European Solidarity Party, the Batkivshchyna Party, and the Holos (Voice) Party will have seats in parliament.
