Zelensky discloses name of possible candidate for prosecutor general's post

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said the candidacy of deputy head of the Presidential Administration Ruslan Riaboshapka is being considered for the post of Ukraine's prosecutor general.

Speaking after a briefing on the murder of Belarus journalist Pavel Sheremet, Zelensky said Ukraine needs a new prosecutor general.

Earlier, Zelensky signed a motion for Ukraine's parliament to dismiss incumbent Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
