Russia's Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova has arrived in Kyiv.

"Tatyana Moskalkova arrived in Kyiv," Russian news agency TASS reported, with reference to the comment of the Russian Embassy in Ukraine.

The embassy said she would stay in the capital of Ukraine for only one day.

The purpose of the visit is not reported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Moscow and Kyiv entered the final stage of negotiations on the swap of prisoners of war (POWs), including 24 Ukrainian sailors captured near the Kerch Strait on November 25. The swap may take place before the end of August.
