Lithuanian president congratulates Ukraine on Independence Day

President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda has congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day.

"Lithuania congratulates Ukraine and its President Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day. We will continue to support your sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as support you on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration," he wrote on Twitter on August 24, 2019.

Former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė also congratulated Ukraine on the holiday.
